Altered Tin Treat Bucket

I picked up a bunch of tins on sale after Christmas last year for this purpose precisely. Each paper is individually cut and pieced to create a patchwork. Since the tin will probably be used in a crafty area, I covered it with contact paper to keep crafty hands from damaging/staining the paper. The word "love" was hand cut from a piece of "My Mind's Eye" scrapbook card stock and glued to the front. A La Mode glitter glue was used to add accents between the patchwork and on the letters. A piece of cellophane was folded and taped to form a bag, which was filled partially with cellophane grass and the rest of the way with Valentine candy. Pink Pirouette Striped 5/8 inch Stampin' Up Grosgrain ribbon is tied at the top and the ends are finished with one charm (heart slider) from the Fabulous Finds Cricut Cartridge and a flower from the Hello Kitty font cartridge is inked in Stampin’ Up Dusty Durango and stamped with studio G stamps.
